Prof. Layton!

hi... uh, there's not a lot to say here... i already said all i wanted to on my first post... then i realised these "gadgets" existed. so... im just gonna say a couple of things about Layton.

this is about the DS and soon to be 3DS games. there are, unsuprisingly the most succesful game of there genre, and the third game (professor Layton and the Lost Future) is the most bestselling game EVER on the DS. See? evindence that not all game need a plumber (who has done plumbing precisly twice) trying to defeat a weird turtle (or, Koopa) to save some idiot princess who has a knack for getting kinapped. a lot. anyway back to the guy with the top hat...in fact, never mind, i ran out of things to say, so see ya later! oh by the way, a true gentleman always follows the blogs of others :)

Professor Layton and the Last Specter Trailer

Yay! there's going to be a new layton game coming sometime in autum! professor layton and the last specter!!! it's going to be the first in the prequel trilogy, followed by Mask of Miracles (coming sometime in Winter) and then some other unamed one. So i looked around youtube for ages to find a video of the finally translated english trailer for you guys. all two of you. enjoy!

Doctor lautrec

I was looking at the ONM (official Nintendo Magazine) and saw a page with a guy dressed a lot like layton. black top hat with red brim, matching clothes, and he just so happened to be a puzzle solving archeolagy professor! i found out that he was "Doctor Lautrec" and just about every bit of text i read about him comments on the fact that his game is going to be a layton-clone. I don't really like him.... I like his pet monkey, he's beyond awsome! but i don't think I've ever seen a game other that layton to have a top-hat-wearing, puzzle solving, archeolagy university professor as their lead character.I'll post a picture of him below to see what you think.

Rachel works 4 me now :)

I've now got rachel updating this blog as well..... and as you can see from her first post, she's slighty immature. :) so there's going to be more updates than if i was doing it myself (obvioulsy)

Or perhaps known by us mere portals as Frederick Bargland. Old GFP is the happy hybrid of renouned time travel Guy Fawkes (before his infamous end...) and Mrs Pumpkin (!) who met one happy Halloween

Unfortunately we all know fawkes end, and Mrs Pumpkin sadly fell off her windowsill and made a great big mess all over the garden path.

BUT, lucky for us GFP is still with us...

my first blog!

hooray! just made my fist blog :) as you can probably tell, it's about the awsomeness that is professr layton. yes, I've always been a fan of Layton, although i hate that annoying kid luke that follows him everywhere... anyways, as i was saying, professor layton is the most awsomest (is that a word...awsomest...?) video game charcter ever! sure, there's no save the world aspect, or "let's go defeat bowser and rescue Peach for the hundreth time" but that dosen't mean he's not awsome in a lot of ways. especially his hat..but i'll talk about that later.

well im gonna wrap this up (my first post, yay!) so... see ya!
